Here's how it works
You want to buy your first shares on OOMNIUM but don’t know how to proceed? Don’t fret! We're here to answer your questions and guide you through the process from start to finish.
Choose your favourite company
On our platform, you will find a selection of exciting investment opportunities. These are responsible companies with sustainable business models or products currently crowdfunding through OOMNIUM or launching a campaign soon.
Get informed
The pitch, the company profile, and the campaign are publicly available. Additionally, registered users can find all the necessary facts and figures to make their decision in the 'Investment Proposal' section. After you have registered on our platform and created your user account, click 'Login' in the top right-hand corner. Inside the black box on the left, you can then click on 'Investment Proposal' to view all available information on your favourite company's campaign.
Do you like what you see and want to invest? Simply click on the orange 'Invest' button inside the black box to start the process.
Select the desired number of shares
Now, you can select an individual number of shares with the slider or choose one of the share packages. If you’re using the slider and the share packages come with additional services, you will get these services, too, by selecting the minimum number of shares needed for the package. Once you’re done, click 'Continue' to go to the next step.
Complete your personal details
The personal details you entered during registration will appear here. Please check them for accuracy and make changes if necessary. If your verification has already been completed, your status will be green. A grey status means your verification is still being processed. You will be notified by email as soon as the verification process is completed. Either way, you can now proceed with your investment.
Connect your wallet
Shares on OOMNIUM are digital only. To receive them, you need a suitable wallet. If you already have a wallet, you can easily connect it here. If you do not have a wallet yet, we recommend you download the wallet of our partner Aktionariat and then connect it. Don’t worry, you do not need any money in your wallet to pay for your shares. It will only be used to store your digital shares once you’ve received them.
Some campaigns let you go to the payment process right away and connect your wallet later. If this is the case with the campaign you chose, it will be made clear at this step.
The legal small print
Before you can complete your investment, we need your consent and confirmation that you want to join the company's registeringment, that you are aware of the risks of your investment, that our notary can subscribe the shares on your behalf, and that the money you deposit really belongs to you. To give your consent and confirmation, click on 'Request Code'. You will receive a one-time code on the email address registered with your account. Enter this code in the white field and click on 'Continue'.
Pay
Now, select one of the available payment methods. Please note that payment by bank transfer must be made within 48 hours. Otherwise, your shares will be released. It's best to do this right now by copying the necessary information via the icon to the right and pasting it into your e-banking. As always, you can continue by clicking on the orange ‘Continue’ button at the bottom.
Sharing is caring
Tell others how the company inspired you to invest. The more people become part of it, the more successful your chosen company's campaign will be.
And what happens next?
If the campaign succeeds, the new shares will be created and delivered to your specified wallet address. This process can take a few weeks. Once the digital shares arrive in your wallet, you are an official shareholder of your chosen company and registered in their share register. Congratulations!
If, contrary to expectations, the campaign does not reach the minimum amount, the amount you paid will be fully refunded immediately after the campaign ends.
